Statutory Warranty
According to §§ 437 ff. BGB (German Civil Code), consumers in Germany have a legal right to subsequent performance (repair or replacement), withdrawal, reduction, and, if applicable, damages in case of defects in the goods. The statutory warranty period is two years from delivery of the goods.
Note on the reversal of the burden of proof:
If a defect occurs within twelve months after delivery of the goods, it is legally presumed that this defect already existed at the time of delivery, unless the seller proves otherwise (§ 477 BGB).
These rights exist independently of any additional manufacturer warranty granted.
1. Manufacturer Warranty Provision
In addition to the statutory warranty, Thermaltake grants a voluntary manufacturer warranty of [z. B. 1 bis 10 Jahren] for specific products. This warranty is valid from the date of purchase and covers material and manufacturing defects under normal use.
