The WAir Workstation CPU Cooler is a powerful air cooler specifically designed for modern high-end workstations with extreme demands. As Thermaltake's first air cooler model supporting both Intel LGA4677 and AMD sTR5 and SP6, the WAir clearly positions itself in the professional sector – designed for CAD professionals, 3D rendering workflows, scientific computing, and creative content creation. Precision Cooling for Workstations at the Highest Level

At the core of the cooling architecture is an enlarged copper base plate with corrosion-resistant nickel coating, specially designed for the larger contact area of workstation CPUs. Using six 6mm heat pipes made of high-performance copper, the generated heat is transferred to the heatsink particularly quickly. The connection of the heat pipes to the base plate is done using highly conductive solder paste, minimizing thermal resistance and maximizing heat transfer – a technique that offers decisive advantages especially in professional environments.

Optimized Dual-Fan Design with TOUGHFAN 14 Pro

Airflow is provided by two redesigned TOUGHFAN 14 Pro fans, made from high-strength Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP). These fans not only offer increased stability and durability but also generate a maximum airflow of 83.4 CFM at a speed of 500 to 1500 RPM with a static pressure of 1.86 mm-H₂O. This ensures continuous cooling effect while maintaining a low noise level of only 24.4 dBA. The dual-fan single-tower design significantly improves airflow inside the case – cold air is efficiently drawn in from the front, while warm air is actively expelled by the rear fan.

Compatibility and System Integration

Thanks to its full support for Intel LGA4677 as well as AMD sTR5 and SP6, the WAir is suitable for modern workstation segment motherboards. The RAM-friendly design ensures unobstructed access to all RAM slots, greatly simplifying system planning and future upgrades. The cooler can also be perfectly combined with the Thermaltake AX Series – a case system specifically tailored for high-performance workstations.
