The Thermaltake Contac 9 SE CPU cooler combines a compact design with thoughtful technology — ideal for systems where space is limited but reliable cooling is still required.
Directly contacting heatpipes ensure quick heat dissipation
The cooler relies on two 6 mm copper heatpipes that sit directly on the CPU and transfer the generated heat directly to the aluminum fins. The fins are made of 0.4 mm thick aluminum with a spacing of 2.5 mm — a finely tuned structure to ensure thermal efficiency.
Compact, quiet 92 mm PWM fan
A 92mm PWM-controlled fan provides active cooling. It spins in the range of 800 to 2000 RPM and generates an airflow of 33.12 CFM at a static pressure of 1.02 mm-H₂O – all at a maximum noise level of 24.5 dB(A). Thanks to the hydraulic bearing, quiet operation is ensured even under high load.
No conflict with large RAM – user-oriented design
The Contac 9 SE was developed with a Non-Interference Design, which does not obstruct even tall RAM modules. This design freedom keeps the RAM slot always accessible. Additionally, special fan clips make the installation and removal of the fan on the heatsink smooth and secure.
Great compatibility for Intel & AMD
It supports a wide range of sockets: Intel (e.g. LGA 1700, 1200, 115x, 1150) and AMD (e.g. AM5, AM4, older FM/AM versions). With dimensions of 130.9 mm height × 38 mm width × 92 mm depth, it remains compact enough for many case forms. The cooler is designed for a maximum cooling power of about 120 watts TDP.
